Digital Transformation Support for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City

The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has recently introduced a plan to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their digital transformation journey until 2025.

This initiative aims to empower SMEs to optimize their operations, enhance production and business efficiency, and improve their competitive advantage. By doing so, these businesses will be able to create new value and contribute to the city’s socio-economic development.

Under this plan, Ho Chi Minh City will provide various forms of support, including funding, consulting services, and digital transformation solutions, to businesses and organizations in the city, with a particular focus on SMEs, cooperatives, and business households. This support will be extended to enterprises, agencies, organizations, associations, universities, and colleges that provide digital technologies, digital platforms, and software solutions to promote digital transformation.

Specifically, the city will cover the costs of consulting on digital transformation solutions for businesses and support the costs of renting and buying digital transformation solutions to automate and improve business processes, management processes, production processes, technology processes, and business model transformation.

The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has set an ambitious goal of deploying digital platforms to support SMEs in accelerating their digital transformation by 2025.
