Jordanian Director Hussein Diebes’ Family Speaks Out After Viral Interview

The recent video interview with renowned Jordanian director Hussein Diebes has sparked a heated debate on social media, with many expressing concern for his well-being. Fawaz Dibes, cousin of the director, has spoken out against the interviewer and the media outlet responsible for the video, condemning their actions as a violation of the director’s privacy. In a statement to Irem News, Fawaz revealed that the family is planning to hold a press conference to address the situation and clarify what happened.

The family has also filed a case against the Jordanian “Shama” center, producer Muhammad al-Majali, and Syrian journalist Rabi, alleging that they did not obtain prior permission from the family before recording the interview. Fawaz described the incident as a breach of patient confidentiality and a violation of the director’s rights.

Director Hussein Diebes’ Health Condition

Fawaz revealed that the director has been suffering from Alzheimer’s and hemiplegia since a stroke a year and a half ago. He emphasized that the director is receiving the best possible treatment and does not require any additional health follow-up from the Minister of Culture or anyone else.
