A follow-up study session was recently held for the overseas language training program that took place in Australia and Ireland this summer. At Hibarigaoka Gakuen, language training is not just about the experience; it’s an inquiry program that allows participants to reflect on their experiences, verify their findings, and consider their next steps. In this follow-up session, all participants presented posters that showcased their inquiry questions, conclusions, and reflections.
The session began with each group presenting their research findings in a five-minute presentation. Teachers then selected the best inquiry posters and had the groups present to the whole class. The participants, reunited for the first time in a while, listened intently to each presentation in a friendly and engaging atmosphere. Their thoughtful questions and insightful observations left a lasting impression.
Our goal is for this language training program to be more than just a memorable high school experience. We hope it will be the first step in a lifelong journey of growth, learning, and transformation.
