Discover the Hidden Gem of Jeonnam: Province Rolls Out the Red Carpet for Field Training Enthusiasts

Jeonnam Province, which has a reputation as the ‘best location for winter training,’ worked with the Provincial Sports Council to preemptively invite those involved in hosting field training and conduct a familiarization tour that also served as an information session.

The information session held at a hotel in Yeongam on the 31st of last month introduced the current status of Jeonnam training camp, sports facilities, and delicious southern food.

The next day, the 1st, a family tour was held divided into three regions: the eastern region (Suncheon), the central region (Hwasun), and the western region (Haenam).

In his commemorative address, Vice Governor Myung Chang-hwan said, “Jeonnam Province is doing its best to maintain its reputation as the best place for field training,” and “We will do our best to help you achieve your dreams by developing your skills and abilities through field training in Jeollanam-do.”

As of 2024, Jeonnam Province is operating 308 sports facilities capable of field training. We actively support various international competitions such as national sports competitions and the Korea Open Badminton Championships.
