Disney Tangled in Concert to Debut in Japan March 2027

The Disney animation film Tangled is heading to arenas across Japan for a live orchestral film-concert series, according to a press release issued by Harmony Japan. The production marks the fourth installment in the popular film-concert series and is scheduled to run in March 2027, bringing the animated feature’s soundtrack and story to large screens accompanied by live musical accompaniment.

According to Harmony Japan, the production features the full Japanese dub version of the movie projected on a grand screen. Dialogue and sound effects remain intact from the original film while a full orchestra performs the score live. The concert also includes guest performers from the Japanese entertainment scene delivering vocal performances of key songs from the movie, including “When Will My Life Begin?” and “I See the Light.”

Tour Dates and Venue Schedule

Performances will take place across three major Japanese cities during March 2027. According to Harmony Japan, the tour itinerary includes venues in Kanagawa, Osaka, and Aichi.

• Kanagawa: Yokohama Arena on Saturday, March 13, 2027, with a matinee at 14:00 and an evening show at 19:00, and Sunday, March 14, 2027, at 13:00 (according to Harmony Japan).
• Osaka: Osaka 城 Hall (Osaka-Jo Hall) on Tuesday, March 16, 2027, at 18:30, and Wednesday, March 17, 2027, at 14:00 (according to Harmony Japan).
• Nagoya: Croco-kun Hall, formerly known as Nippon Gaishi Hall, on Saturday, March 20, 2027, at 18:00, and Sunday, March 21, 2027, at 14:00 (according to Harmony Japan).

Ticket Information and Availability

Advance ticket sales for the tour open through the official membership service Club Harmony. According to Harmony Japan, the earliest lottery-based ticket pre-order period begins on Saturday, August 29, at 12:00.
