DispatchHealth completes⁤ Merger, Expanding In-Home Healthcare

DispatchHealth ⁤finalized it’s merger with Medically Home, establishing a unified healthcare platform focused on delivering advanced medical care ​directly to patients at home. The move seeks to provide a‍ more‌ cost-effective and flexible approach to healthcare, reducing the need for⁢ emergency room visits and hospital stays.

the combined organization, operating under the DispatchHealth​ brand,‍ now offers a wide ​spectrum of services, from immediate same-day assistance to comprehensive recovery programs and in-patient level care within the‍ home.

Jennifer Webster, CEO of DispatchHealth, emphasized the benefits of in-home care. “The home is a powerful place⁢ for healing,” Webster said. “Together with Medically Home, we’re making it easier for health systems, payers and other customers to offer complex care outside customary settings, while delivering a‍ more human and ‌connected experience for ‍the people they⁤ serve.”

DispatchHealth’s expanded services‌ now include ER-option care for significant,but not ⁢life-threatening conditions; ​hospital-alternative care,providing hospital-level treatment at home; and transitional care to aid recovery ​and lower readmission risks. The ⁣company currently provides operational services in over⁤ 20 states, supporting more than⁤ 50 enterprise clients.

The ⁤company also offers mobile imaging ⁣and a CLIA-certified mobile laboratory⁢ capable of performing moderately complex tests. ‍As part of the integration, ‍Medically Home’s technology platform and clinical command center model will be incorporated into‌ DispatchHealth’s national infrastructure. the Medically ​Home brand will gradually be phased out as the unification ‍progresses.
