DiVincenzo and Wang Siyu Unleash Basketball Frenzy in Hangzhou: A Slam Dunk with College Stars
DiVincenzo and Wang Siyu Bring Basketball Frenzy to Hangzhou
College players in Hangzhou recently had the unique opportunity to be coached by both NBA stars and Chinese national team players at the same time. This super benefit was made possible by the surprise appearance of NBA star DiVincenzo and Chinese women’s basketball national team player Wang Siyu at the “Frenzy” basketball gym.
DiVincenzo and Wang Siyu opened a SHOOTER CAMP shooter training camp to help the players of two CUBAL teams, the Zhejiang Normal University men’s basketball team and the Zhejiang Sci-Tech University women’s basketball team, improve their basketball skills. Under their guidance, the college players sweated in the gym, carried out various targeted training, and then played a full-court 4V4 game with the same rules as the Frenzy Basketball League.

DiVincenzo, a domineering “champion guard” on the court, was low-key and humble off the court. He personally taught college students how to shoot, told them what they should pay attention to on the court, and answered questions raised by college students. During the event, DiVincenzo and Wang Siyu also had a chance to be coaches and led college players in a competition.

The training camp aims to provide a professional, systematic, and high-level competition and training platform for more elite players. The elite players who are promoted from it will receive more dimensional resource support, which will fully contribute to the development of local basketball culture and the improvement of the overall level of Chinese basketball.
The event has been highly valued by Hangzhou Xiaoshan Asian Games Venue Investment and Construction Co., Ltd. General Manager Yang Baoding said that as an Asian Games venue, the Olympic Sports Center has first-class facilities and complete service support. Through cooperation with high-quality event resources such as Anta, it will help to better build urban public spaces, promote urban consumption, and inject new impetus into the new sports concept of the venue.
