Tirupati: TTD EO Presents Pattu Vastrams to Sri Kanipaka Varasiddhi Vinayaka Temple

Tirupati: In a significant event, TTD Executive Officer J Syamala Rao presented sacred silk clothes, known as Pattu Vastrams, to the revered Sri Kanipaka Varasiddhi Vinayaka temple on Sunday.

This presentation is part of a long-standing tradition where the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) offers silk clothes to the temple, located in Chittoor district, on the occasion of the celestial wedding of the deities, which took place on Sunday evening as part of the Vinayaka Chaviti festivities and annual Brahmotsavam.

Upon his arrival, the TTD EO was warmly received by Kanipakam temple EO Guruprasad, AEO Vidyasagar Reddy, archakas, and Veda pundits.

Following the presentation of the sacred clothes, the TTD EO, accompanied by Tirumala temple DyEO Lokanatham, had a darshan of the presiding deity, which was followed by Veda Aseervachanam performed by the temple priests.

Putalappattu legislator Murali Mohan also took the opportunity to felicitate the EO on this occasion.

Temple Deputy EO Lokanadham was also present to witness the event.
