Popular DJ and podcaster Anthony Marnoch, known professionally as DJ ⁢Fat tony, was forced to cancel a London performance after⁢ sustaining facial injuries at a⁢ gig in⁤ Kent.

Marnoch, ⁤who performed at⁢ Lido Margate ⁢on Friday, took to ⁤Instagram⁢ on Saturday to share the news with fans. ‍A video accompanying the post showed visible bruising and swelling around his eye.

“I was hurt last night at a⁤ gig,”⁢ Marnoch wrote, adding that he had received treatment at ⁢a hospital’s A&E ⁢unit.

The incident forced ⁤the DJ to ⁣cancel his Saturday show at No90 Hackney Wick in London, leaving fans disappointed.

“I’m really sorry that I won’t be seeing you tonight but⁤ we will reschedule everything,” Marnoch said in ⁣his post. “Big love guys – I’m just gutted, really gutted.”

Marnoch assured fans that he was “under doctors’ orders” to rest and⁤ recover,⁣ adding that he would be “OK” and “on the mend.” He promised to reschedule the London show for January⁣ and expressed his apologies, wishing fans a happy Christmas.

The⁤ DJ, a familiar⁤ face ⁢on ⁣the UK social scene, is known for‍ his appearances alongside celebrities like reality⁤ TV star⁢ Gemma Collins and singer Claire Sweeney.
