March 28, 2025

According ⁣to an‍ investment analyst, the rights issue will be carried out with a different ratio ⁢and implementation price than previously planned.

The Tower Nusantara Sarana (TOWR) had initially‍ planned to raise 4.5 trillion rupiah through the rights issue before ⁣its postponement, wich was attributed to macroeconomic and market developments, including fluctuations in the company’s share price.

The original transaction structure involved the issuance of 5 billion ⁢new shares ⁤with ⁣a ratio of 1,001:100, resulting in a dilution affect ‍of up to 9.08% and an implementation price of 900 rupiah per share.

management estimates capital expenditure (capex) for this year ⁤to be between 5 trillion and 6 trillion rupiah. The primary focus for the issuer is optimization, encompassing ‍both asset utilization and financial structures through the rights issue.

An analyst explained⁤ that increasing the ⁣number of towers and fiber optic infrastructure will⁤ be approached cautiously, considering the ongoing consolidation in the operator industry and‍ intense competition in the fixed broadband sector.

The number of tenants is projected to remain stable annually, accounting for tenant relocations resulting from the merger between XL Axiata and Smartfren Telecom.

Growth is expected to continue in the ⁢fiber segment through increased utilization of existing assets,⁤ including both ‍fiber to the tower (FTTT) and fiber to the home (FTTH) sub-segments.

Company management has stated that the acquisition of PT Remala Abadi Tbk (data) is a strategic move to enhance the utilization of fiber assets and bolster revenue growth in⁤ the connectivity segment.
