A hip-hop auction featuring unreleased DMX material and memorabilia from other rap legends is underway. Gotta Have Rock and Roll launched its Hip-Hop Spring 2025 Auction on Wednesday, offering dozens of items related to iconic artists.
The auction, which runs through June 13, includes VHS footage of DMX from 1990-1994, estimated to be worth between $30,000 and $50,000. The collection contains unseen concert clips, music videos, interviews and freestyle sessions. Four cassette tapes of unreleased music, including a purported diss track aimed at Mary J. Blige,are also up for bidding. Additional DMX items include handwritten lyrics, concert flyers and a rare T-shirt.
DMX,who died at 50 on April 9,2021,achieved considerable success,including releasing two No. 1 albums in 1998.
Fans can also bid on items from The Notorious B.I.G., such as a framed, autographed Ready to Die album cover and a handwritten note penned while incarcerated. Jewelry once owned by Tupac Shakur, including a diamond cross pendant, is also available.
