Starting August 1, 2024, dogs that have resided exclusively in dog rabies-free ⁢or low-risk countries for the six‍ months prior to entry will only need a receipt from the online CDC Import Form submission.This form can be completed on the day of travel, and the receipt, either printed or displayed on a phone, will ⁤be valid for multiple entries into ⁢the U.S. for six months from the date it was issued.All dogs must have a microchip and be at least six months old to be eligible for import under these guidelines.
