Despite Nicola’s attempts to get Elsie up, the puppy remained stubborn, refusing to budge.

It seemed that Elsie had thought that if she lay down on the floor, she would never have to go home.

Nicola tried everything to get Elsie up, even offering her favorite snack, but the puppy remained unmoved.

It wasn’t until Nicola pretended to leave Elsie behind that the puppy suddenly jumped up and followed her.
