Donegal’s passionate supporters are rallying behind their team in teh lead-up to the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final, and a heartwarming music video from Letterkenny’s Community Inclusion hub is capturing the county’s spirit. The song, aptly titled “Big Jim’s Gonna Do It Again!”, is a vibrant tribute to the team and a testament to the inclusive nature of the Donegal community.

The Community Inclusion Hub, which supports adults aged 18 to 65 with intellectual disabilities, has created a truly special anthem. The music video features the hub’s service users, showcasing their enthusiasm and pride for Donegal. Many of the participants are seen sporting the county’s iconic yellow and green colours or waving Donegal flags, their faces alight with excitement.
Fionn Robinson, a spokesperson for the hub, shared his delight at the video’s reception. “The tune is so catchy and has a real feel-good energy to it, and the video is fun as well,” he explained. “It’s magic, really, and its been lovely to see some of the service users, local clubs, as well as family and friends, sharing the video and showing their recognition.”

The sentiment behind the song is clear: a collective hope that their beloved team, affectionately known as “Jim and the boys,” will bring the Sam Maguire cup home. “We’re all hoping Jim and the boys will hear the song and it’ll inspire them to bring Sam home to the hills,” Fionn added, echoing the dreams of countless Donegal fans.
