Opening of Master’s and Doctoral Programs in Real Estate Studies, Establishment of a New Real Estate Graduate School

(Busan = Yonhap News) Reporter Jongmin Lee = Dong-A University announced on the 30th that it will open a real estate program to actively respond to the rapidly changing real estate market and foster related practical experts.

To this end, Dong-A University appointed Professor Kang Jeong-gyu, the first real estate doctor in Korea and former Dean of the Real Estate Graduate School at Dong-Eui University, as of September 1.

Dong-A University will open a real estate doctoral program in its general graduate school starting in September, and will then establish and open a real estate graduate school in the second half of the year.

The master’s program focuses on educating professionals in real estate investment, development, and asset management, targeting both office workers and the self-employed, while the general graduate school real estate doctoral program focuses on educating professionals in real estate practice, including specialized theories and practices.

In addition, we plan to open and operate the best course to strengthen the capabilities of redevelopment and reconstruction project leaders in order to ensure the stable promotion of redevelopment and reconstruction projects within the real estate graduate school.

Professor Kang Jeong-gyu said, “In order to properly respond to the confusing real estate market, practical knowledge for real estate asset management, etc. is essential above all else,” and added, “I will do my best to foster the best real estate experts.”

Dong-A University plans to accept applications for the general graduate school real estate doctoral program in October, the graduate school real estate master’s program in real estate and the advanced program for strengthening the capacity of maintenance business leaders in December.
