Video shows the robot dog being seen mechanically strolling among the palm trees outside a Palm Beach estate on Friday morning, with a warning written on its side: “DO NOT PET.”
The U.S. Secret Service confirmed that the remote-controlled robot dog, manufactured by Boston Dynamics, belongs to the Secret Service. A spokesman for the agency told the New York Post, “Protecting the president-elect is a top priority. … This robotic dog is equipped with surveillance technology and an array of advanced sensors to support our protective operations.”

Trump, who survived two assassinations during this year’s campaign, has been working behind closed doors at Mar-a-Lago to prepare for his upcoming term after his landslide victory over Vice President Kamala Harris last Tuesday. Government personnel.
Robot dogs are becoming increasingly popular among public safety agencies across the United States as a tool to keep law enforcement and emergency responders out of harm’s way.
Mayor Eric Adams announced last year that the New York City Police Department was equipped with a robotic K-9 team of three remote-controlled dogs. Last year, when a parking garage collapsed in Lower Manhattan, killing one person and injuring five others, the New York City Fire Department sent a $75,000 robotic dog into the rubble to search for survivors and assess the extent of the damage.
Robot dogs also have military applications. Earlier this year, the Ukrainian military deployed 30 robot dogs made by Brit Alliance on the battlefield, each selling for $9,000. These metal dogs serve as walking drones, capable of conducting reconnaissance missions and quickly delivering supplies to troops without endangering soldiers.
