Double the Fun: Name the Dynamic Duo and Score Exclusive Zhejiang Guangsha Jerseys and Tickets
Win Zhejiang Guangsha’s Jerseys and Tickets by Naming the Twin Lions Mascot
Zhejiang Guangsha Basketball Club is calling on fans to help name their twin lions mascot, with exciting prizes up for grabs.
The club has launched a naming campaign, open to fans until September 30. Participants will have the chance to win the team’s game uniforms, backpacks, and CBA balls for the 2024-2025 season. The winners will also receive two home game tickets for the new regular season.
The twin lions are the first CBA team to introduce twin mascots. The older lion wears jersey No. 88 and is an extrovert, good at dancing, and plays as a shooting guard. The younger lion wears jersey No. 99, is an introvert, and plays as a small forward.
After the naming campaign closes, the club will conduct a preliminary review and select 5 groups of candidate names for the final public voting phase. The 5 groups of participants in the voting phase will have the opportunity to draw prizes such as Zhejiang Guangsha’s player version game uniforms, player version sponsored backpacks, and Li Ning CBA league game balls for the new season. The final participant of the winning name will receive two home tickets for the 2024-2025 CBA League Zhejiang Guangsha regular season.

Interestingly, the Guangsha team has a special affinity with twins. Currently, the first team has Zhao Jiaren and Zhao Jiayi, twin players trained by the team (the younger brother is on loan); the captain Hu Jinqiu has a pair of twin sons, who are already 4 years old; and the reporter learned that there is another pair of twin brothers in the youth training team, who may make a surprise appearance in the CBA arena like the Zhao brothers in the future.
