A​ Facebook fan page, Nine Lonely Swords, shared a message expressing condolences to Qi ⁣Shaoqian and his wife, stating that they had passed away and were on their way to the afterlife.

According to Hong Kong media reports, Qi Shaoqian, a senior actor, passed⁢ away earlier this month at the age of 73 due to esophageal ‍cancer in ⁢Beijing. The news was confirmed by Hong Kong director Tian ⁢Qiwen, leaving fans and ⁢viewers who remembered him⁢ as Hun Pueyang in Invincible Sword in a‍ state of sadness.

Tian Qiwen‍ revealed‌ that​ Qi Shaoqian ‍was unaware of​ his cancer diagnosis,‍ as he disliked undergoing medical examinations. Upon​ discovering⁣ his illness, he left immediately.
