Two Japanese teams have been selected as finalists for the prestigious Elite Awards 2024, sponsored by leading British interior design magazine “design et al.” This achievement marks a significant milestone for Japanese designers on the global stage.
Full member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID), BABID’s Sawayama, RONDESIGN’s Ogoshi, and Hiroshima were in attendance at the awards ceremony. Their participation underscores the growing influence of Japanese design in the international community.
The International Design & Architecture Awards 2023, held in London, saw two Japanese works emerge as category winners. This success paved the way for their invitation to the Elite Awards 2024, which took place at The Grand Hotel Cusisana on the island of Capri, Italy on July 5th.
The Elite Awards 2024 is an exclusive event, reserved for winners of three design et al awards: the International Hotel & Property Award, the International Yacht & Aviation Award, and the International Design & Architecture Award. The two Japanese designers who won their categories were honored to attend the ceremony with their clients.
These achievements demonstrate the exceptional talent and dedication of Japanese designers, who continue to make a lasting impact on the global design community.
