SAN ANTONIO, Chile – DP World San Antonio ​concluded the 2024-2025 cruise season with the departure of the Sapphire Princess. During ⁣the summer period, the port hosted 21 cruise ships, ⁤welcoming more than 60,000 visitors, including crew members and passengers.

The Princess Cruises ship docked at ‌site C1, operated by the Puerto​ de San Antonio concessionaire. The ship’s stay exceeded 12 hours, facilitated by Inchcape, allowing preparations for its 18-day journey‍ to Los Angeles, ‌United States.

According to Stephenie⁣ Dewulf, commercial manager of DP World Chile, the season was a success.

It was a very successful ‌season, with 21 cruises and more than 60,000 visits, between crew and passengers, ⁤which reached the historical record of ​more than 433 thousand visits in 141 ⁤cruises since October 2017 to date in DP World San Antonio. ​This season we received the Majestic ‌Princess, the largest cruise that has arrived in Chile, and to the luxurious victory of the famous line Cunard.

Dewulf added that San ​Antonio has become a tourist destination ⁣for international cruises.
