Dr. Deasy, who held degrees including B.D.S., D.M.D, M.D.S., and M.S., was a respected figure in his community, with connections to both new Jersey, USA, and his ancestral home in upper Davitt Street, Foxford, Co. Mayo.
A Cherished Family Man
Dr. DeasyS life was deeply enriched by his devoted wife, Mrs. Mary Olivia Deasy (née gallagher), who hails from Straide, Foxford, County Mayo.Their enduring love was a testament to a life shared with purpose and affection. He was a loving father to Ms.Maria Deasy of New York, NY; Dr. martin Deasy of San Francisco, CA; and Ms.Nannette Deasy Baumgardner, along with her husband Mr. Robert Baumgardner, also of New York, NY. His family circle extended to his sisters-in-law,Mrs. Fay Deasy and Mrs. mary Deasy, and a wide network of cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom will deeply miss his presence.
A Life Remembered: Predeceased by Loved Ones
Dr.Deasy was predeceased by his parents, Mr. Martin Deasy and Mrs. Mary Deasy (née Brogan) of Foxford. His memory is also intertwined with that of his sister, Miss Maura Deasy, and Miss Evelyn Deasy, both of Foxford. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Mrs. Breege Ward, and her husband, Mr. Brendan Ward, of Naples, Florida. Further losses include his brother, Dr. Raymond Deasy of Maldon,England,and his brother,Dr. Noel Deasy of Dublin.The memory of his great aunts Katie,Annie,and Bea Brogan of Foxford,and his great uncles Michael and James Brogan,originally of Muckroe,Foxford,also form part of the rich tapestry of his family history.

A Farewell in Foxford
Dr. Deasy will repose at Clarkes Funeral Home, Foxford (F26 TH27), on Thursday evening, July 24th, from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm. This will be an opportunity for friends and loved ones to pay their respects and share memories.
funeral Mass and Committal
the removal from the Funeral Home will take place on friday morning, July 25th, at 10:40 am. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael’s Church, Foxford, at 11:00 am. Following the service, a private committal service will be held at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
For those unable to attend in person, the Funeral Mass for Dr. Deasy will be available to view online at www.churchtv.ie/foxford, allowing a wider community to participate in this solemn occasion.
