Laredo Medical Center and Laredo Physician Associates welcome Dr. Roy Ruttiman to their medical staff.
Dr. Ruttiman is an expert in interventional radiology. He earned his medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in August 2018. He completed a general surgery internship at Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Hospital in June 2019. He then finished his residency in interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in July 2024.
Dr. Ruttiman has local roots. He attended Nye Elementary School, United Middle School, and J.B. Alexander High School in the United Independent School District.
Interventional radiology is a specialty that focuses on using image-guided, minimally invasive procedures. This approach helps diagnose and treat various diseases while reducing risk for patients.
