Drake may be taking on a new role in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6). Jermaine Dupri hinted that the Toronto rapper might have his own radio station within the game, possibly featuring unreleased music. The highly anticipated game is slated for release May 26, 2026.
Dupri, speaking on the “Rory and Mal” podcast, said Rockstar Games approached him about creating content for GTA. During those discussions, he learned of Drake’s possible involvement. If the rumors are true, Drake could be the first artist to curate a radio station within the GTA universe, a feature long requested by fans.

Rockstar Games has not confirmed Drake’s involvement. However, other artists have suggested they are contributing to the game’s soundtrack. ScHoolboy Q revealed his musical feature in February 2023,and T-pain has also said he collaborated with Rockstar. Rumors also suggest DJ Khaled may host his own station.
The potential for artists to debut exclusive tracks through GTA VI could further blur the lines between streaming and gaming culture.
In related news, Drake was scheduled to appear on Kai Cenat’s livestream June 12 to judge entries for the “Somebody Loves Me” music video contest. However, Cenat postponed the event, citing the need for more time to review submissions. A new date has not been announced.
