Drake & Kai Cenat Livestream Coincides with Kendrick Lamar Toronto Concert

Drake and streamer Kai Cenat are set to host a livestream on Thursday, June 12, at 8 p.m. EST. The event occurs the same night as Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s Grand National Tour stop in Toronto.
Cenat announced the upcoming livestream on social media, noting it will promote Drake’s new single, “Somebody Loves Me.” Cenat assisted in selecting 20 fans to direct the song’s music video.

The announcement drew immediate reaction online. One Instagram user noted the timing: ”Ironic, I’m goin’ to the Kendrick concert tmr in Toronto.” Another wrote,”Drake on stream,Kendrick rocc’n your hometown Stadium,dammmmn Drake,this is hilarious.”
The livestream follows Cenat’s appearance with Lamar and SZA at the BET Awards 2025. Lamar won Album of the Year for GNX and Video of the Year for “Not Like Us” at the event.

Drake is also preparing to battle UMG in court over “Not Like Us” in a defamation lawsuit. A judge granted Drake limited access to UMG’s records in April to consider the legal implications of rap lyrics.
