SiR⁤ Claims Drake ‌Influenced‌ toronto Concert Cancellation

SiR has accused Drake of playing a ⁣role ‌in the cancellation of his Toronto concert last ⁢year.The Top ‌Dawg Entertainment (TDE) ‍singer addressed fans ‌during a recent show in Canada, revealing details about the nixed July⁤ 2024‌ performance.

According to SiR, the venue, which he ​said was partially owned ​by Drake, canceled the show. He added that when they ​attempted to move the concert to another venue, that​ location declined, citing concerns about potential complications.

SiR believes he ‍was caught‍ in the middle of the feud⁢ between Kendrick ‍Lamar and Drake. He cited ⁢”complications” that were “to close‌ to home for a lot ⁣of people” as the reason for the cancellation.The concert was called off after Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us,” which ⁢targeted​ Drake,became a⁢ focal point in Drake’s lawsuit against Universal Music Group.

Initially, SiR apologized to his Toronto fans, attributing the cancellation⁤ to the venue. He posted on social media that⁣ the show was sold out but canceled​ by the venue for unkown reasons, promising⁢ to reschedule.

SiR isn’t the only​ TDE member who has faced issues in Toronto.In ‌2024, ScHoolboy Q ⁢hinted that his Toronto show was⁤ also blocked, tweeting about the cancellation with a laughing emoji and ​suggesting that Canadian police ⁣didn’t want anyone from TDE performing.
