Persib Bandung (Indonesia) 0-1 Port Authority FC (Thailand)
The AFC Champions League Two, season 2024/25, kicked off on 19 September 2024, with Group F’s first match at Sri Jalat Harupat Stadium, featuring Persib Bandung from Indonesia against Port Authority Football Club of the Thai League.
The game began with both teams attempting to attack each other immediately. However, neither team managed to penetrate the opposing defense and score a goal, as both teams played cautiously, unwilling to give up first.
As the game progressed, Port FC gained more control of the ball, but the home team struggled to find an opening to penetrate. In the 1st minute of injury time, a heavy tackle by Asnavi Manggualam on Dimas Dragad sparked a confrontation between the players, resulting in a yellow card for Asnavi. The first half ended with Persib Bandung still tied with Port Authority FC 0-0.
The second half saw the home team almost scoring in the 67th minute when Beckham Putra got the ball in the middle of the goal, but Worawut Srisupap, the Port goalkeeper, made a crucial save.
In the 70th minute, Port Authority FC had a few chances when Bodin Phala received the ball from the left side, dragged it into the middle, and hit the far post. However, Kevin Ray Mendoza, the Persib Bandung goalkeeper, made a spectacular save to deny the goal.
The game reached its climax in the 90th minute, and at the end of the match, Persib Bandung lost to Port Authority FC 0-1, earning Port Authority the first 3 points of the season.

Although the results of another match in the F line saw Lion City Sailors (Singapore) win Zhejiang FC (China) 2-0, the next match schedule of the Port Authority FC team will be on October 3, 2024, against Lion City Sailors (Singapore) at 7:00 pm at BG Stadium.
