Rescue Operations Underway
Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, announced that the preliminary report of the engineering committee formed to examine the properties adjacent to the collapsed property No. 30 of Mohammed Abdel Hadi Street in the Ard al-Gulf area of East Nasr City, showed that those properties were not affected by the collapse accident.
The governor added that 3 survivors were rescued from the rubble of the collapsed property as a result of the search operation. Fortunately, no deaths have been recorded so far, and search operations are still continuing to locate other survivors.
Medical Response
The Ministry of Health dispatched 10 equipped ambulances to the scene of the property collapse in the Ard El Golf area.
According to the ministry, 5 civilians were injured as a result of the accident. 3 of the injured were treated at the site, while 2 others were transferred to Heliopolis Hospital and are currently under observation.
