The opposing party, Mr. Chotinarin Jeong, 45, a sound engineer by profession and black-up for a band, entered into a memorandum of understanding for mediation and compensation for damages.

The case involved Mr. Chotinarin Jeong, who was accused of defrauding the salary for a concert tour in 5 countries (Norway-Sweden-Switzerland-Belgium, Germany) from August 12 to 18, 2024, including 5 shows at a price of 1.2 million baht. However, he did not return the money according to the agreement, leading to a complaint of defamation.
Mediation and Apology
After negotiating for more than 2 hours, Mr. Chotinarin Jeong admitted his guilt due to mistakes in planning and management of the concert system. He took responsibility for the accusations made by the artists and apologized to the three artists for causing them to lose reputation. Mr. Chotinarin Jeong agreed to pay compensation of 900 thousand baht in no more than 3 months.
