Governor Yuri Slyusar reported on Telegram that the attacks, which he described ‍as a “large-scale ⁢enemy assault,” involved “more⁣ then three dozen UAVs and three missiles.” He stated that air defense systems were activated ​in several cities across the region.

“While most of the air targets were neutralized, a fire broke out at an oil refinery,” Slyusar said. “Firefighters are currently⁤ working to‍ extinguish the blaze.” ⁢He later confirmed that ‌the fire was successfully contained.

Slyusar also reported‍ that one person was injured in a⁤ village near Rostov due to falling debris from‍ a drone.
