Singer Dua Lipa has confirmed she is engaged to actor Callum Turner, ending months of speculation that began after she posted holiday photos sporting a ring. Lipa revealed the news in a recent cover story with British Vogue.
The “Don’t Start Now” singer shared her excitement about the engagement and the prospect of growing old with Turner. She described it as a “really special feeling” to decide ”to see a life and just… be best friends forever.”
Turner had the engagement ring custom-made, consulting with Lipa’s sister and close friends to ensure it perfectly reflected her style. “I’m obsessed with it,” Lipa said. “It’s so me.It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of yoru life with knows you very well.”
The couple, who began dating in January 2024 after meeting in London, are holding off on wedding plans due to their demanding schedules. lipa is currently on her ‘Radical Optimism’ tour, while Turner is filming the Apple TV+ series Neuromancer.
“I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period,” Lipa told British Vogue. She added, “I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”
