Dua Lipa surprised fans at her Wembley Stadium show Friday,bringing out Jamiroquai’s Jay Kay to perform “Virtual Insanity.” the collaboration highlighted Lipa’s Radical Optimism tour, which has seen the pop star celebrate local music in each city.
Addressing the sold-out crowd, Dua Lipa reflected on her journey. “It feels really,really special to be here tonight,” Lipa said. “It is 10 years since our first ever London show to about 350 people, and I just dreamt of a night like this were I get to be in front of 70,000 people.”
Lipa described Jamiroquai as an inspiration and a “trailblazer for British music.” Jay kay, known for his distinctive hats, joined Lipa onstage for the performance of the 1996 hit.
