Dua Lipa Joins Tame Impala for Surprise Performance at London O2

Tame Impala and Dua Lipa performed together at the O2 in London on May 7, 2026. The appearance occurred during the Kevin Parker-led band’s show, where Lipa joined the stage for a two-song mini-set.

Lipa first appeared midway through the song Afterthought, a track from Tame Impala’s 2025 album Deadbeat. The performance then transitioned into Houdini, a disco-pop song from Lipa’s 2024 album Radical Optimism.

The collaboration on stage follows a professional creative partnership between the two artists. Kevin Parker co-wrote and co-produced Radical Optimism.

History of Collaboration

The musical partnership began at the 2024 Glastonbury Festival. During her headlining set, Lipa brought Parker on stage to perform Tame Impala’s The Less I Know the Better before they performed Houdini together.

During the Glastonbury appearance, Lipa described Parker as someone who I deeply admire musically and remarked, Tonight, I get to pretend that I’m in Tame Impala.

The artists collaborated again in March 2025 at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. Parker joined Lipa during her concert for another performance of The Less I Know the Better.

During the Sydney show, Lipa told the audience:

Touring and Recent Performances

Tame Impala is concluding a European tour in May 2026. Following the European dates, the group is scheduled to begin a North American tour run on July 6-7, 2026, starting in Miami.

In addition to the appearance by Lipa in London, Tame Impala recently performed in Paris. During that show, the band was joined by the French electronic duo Justice to perform their Grammy-winning collaboration, Neverender.
