The PlayStation DualSense Edge features remappable back paddles, trigger locks offering three stopping points, multiple thumbstick cap styles, and programmable function buttons. These buttons allow users to cycle through as many as 30 custom profiles and tweak settings like audio volume on the fly. Gamers can fine-tune their gaming experience.
Custom profiles are easily created via the DualSense Edge settings menu on the PS5 or through the PlayStation Accessories app on a PC. Gamers can remap buttons, fine-tune stick and trigger sensitivities, establish dead zones, and adjust the intensity of adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. These settings can then be saved to custom profiles and assigned to the function buttons for swift switching during gameplay. This level of input customization provides a competitive edge.
The DualSense Edge connects wirelessly to PS5, PC, Mac, and mobile devices via Bluetooth. For competitive players who prefer a wired connection, the controller includes a locking mechanism for the braided USB-C cable, preventing accidental disconnections.
