Dubai RTA Launches Free Wi-Fi at key Transport Hubs

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has activated complimentary Wi-Fi at 43 major transport locations. This includes 21 public bus stations and 22 marine transport centers. The service, facilitated through a partnership wiht e&, enables passengers to use their smartphones, tablets, and laptops to stay connected during their travels.
This initiative is a key component of the RTA’s broader digital transformation strategy. The goal is to improve mobility and the overall travel experience for commuters. Officials stated the move also aligns with Dubai’s ambition to become a global leader in smart and connected urban living, enhancing its role in technological advancement.
the RTA saeid it plans to continuously monitor and upgrade the Wi-Fi service to ensure reliable,high-quality connectivity. Further expansion of the service across the public transport network is anticipated.
