The two-week training initiative aims to equip 40 selected content creators with advanced skills in storytelling, digital production, and economic analysis to better promote Dubai as a global hub for business and tourism, according to reports from Emarat Al Youm, Al Khaleej, and Al Bayan.
Program Scope and Training Objectives
The program consists of 40 hours of intensive training sessions designed to help participants navigate the evolving digital media landscape. According to Al Bayan, the curriculum covers a broad spectrum of technical and creative disciplines, including creative writing, professional lighting, cinematography, motion graphics, and the integration of artificial intelligence in content development. Participants also receive instruction on data analysis and digital engagement strategies to ensure their content resonates with global audiences.
The initiative marks the first time the “Dubai Content Creators” program is being conducted entirely in English, a decision intended to attract a diverse group of creators from the more than 200 nationalities residing in the UAE, Al Bayan reported. Out of more than 150 applicants, 40 individuals were chosen to participate in the training.
Economic Vision and Content Strategy
A primary goal of the program is to educate creators on Dubai’s economic model, specifically its transition from reliance on natural resources to a diversified economy driven by innovation, tourism, and creativity.

Maryam Al Mulla, director of the Dubai Press Club, emphasized the importance of this narrative.
Dubai’s inspiring success story in building a diversified economy and a competitive tourism sector deserves to be conveyed to the world with creative thought and innovative methods.

Aida Al Busaidy, vice president of social platform campaigns at the DET, noted that the department has been working with content creators for over a decade.
Investing in the digital content industry forms a fundamental pillar for enhancing Dubai’s competitiveness and affirming its position as a leading global destination for business, tourism, and investment.

The collaborative effort relies on a network of global partners across more than 80 countries.
