Dublin, Ireland – A lucky Dubliner is unknowingly sitting on a life-changing €120,000 lottery prize, but time is running out to claim it.The winning EuroDreams ticket, purchased at Tesco in Rathfarnham Shopping Center, matched the numbers for the October 31, 2024 draw, securing the winner €2,000 per month for five years.
With the 90-day claim deadline fast approaching on January 29th, National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan is urging anyone who bought a ticket at the Rathfarnham Tesco on Halloween to double-check their numbers.
“We are hoping to hear from a EuroDreams player in Rathfarnham who scooped their prize of €2,000 per month for five years,” Monaghan said. “The last date to claim this prize is Wednesday, January 29th, so we are encouraging all our players who purchased their ticket in rathfarnham’s Tesco to check their old tickets very carefully.”

Monaghan explained that winners can easily verify their tickets using the National Lottery app. “If you scan your ticket using the National lottery app and it’s a winner, you’ll receive a message instructing you to contact our Claims team. You can reach them by calling 1800 666 222 or emailing claims@lottery.ie.”
This unclaimed prize comes on the heels of another exciting lottery event: the special New year’s Eve raffle. One lucky player became an instant millionaire, while thousands of others won prizes ranging from €1,000 to €100,000.
The New Year’s Eve raffle saw over €6.3 million distributed across 8,500 prizes, demonstrating the life-changing potential of lottery games.
