Choice Transportation Available
To mitigate the impact of the disruption, Transdev, the Luas operator, has announced that Luas tickets will be accepted on Dublin Bus routes for the duration of the outage. This allows passengers to continue thier journeys using alternative public transport.
Transdev has issued an apology for the inconvenience caused, but has not yet provided a timeline for full service restoration. Passengers are advised to check for updates before traveling.
Ongoing Red Line Issues
This disruption occurs shortly after a section of the red Line, between Connolly and The Point, was closed following a major fire in Dublin’s docklands. The combined impact of these incidents is placing considerable strain on Dublin’s public transportation network.
