The pan-Indian Telugu film Lucky Bhaskar starring young Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan continues to be a big hit. Released in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi languages, the film is on its way to the biggest success of Dulquer Salmaan’s career. Written and directed by Venky Atluri, the film has already grossed over 55 million worldwide.

Dulquer Salmaan became the first Malayalam actor to win consecutive Telugu films with the success of Lucky Bhaskar. Also, it is the first time after Kamal Haasan that an actor from outside the Telugu industry has achieved back-to-back hits there.

All three films starring Dulquer in Telugu became blockbuster hits. Dulquer made his Telugu debut with Nag Ashwin’s Mahanadi. Released in 2018, Dulquer played the role of Jamini Ganesha. After this film which became a super hit, Dulquer made his Telugu debut with Seetha Ramam. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and released in 2022, this romantic drama has become the biggest hit of Dulquer Salmaan’s career.

Now, Dulquer has a rare hat-trick record in Telugu with Lucky Bhaskar, who is racing to overtake Sita Ram too. During the press meet held as part of Lucky Bhaskar’s success, Dulquer revealed that he feels a divine connection with the Telugu audience.

After Lucky Bhaskar, Dulquer Salmaan is also doing a Telugu film ‘Akasamlo Oka Tara’ produced by Pawan Sadineni.

Lucky Bhaskar is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas and is presented by Sreekara Studios, led by Suryadevara Nagavanshi and Sai Giyada. This super hit film was released in Kerala and the Gulf by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films.
