Jakarta Persija’s defensive duo, Rizky Ridho and Jordi Amat, have been selected for the Indonesian national team squad. The call-up comes as the team prepares for a series of trial matches next month, signaling a crucial period of preparation for the upcoming 2026 world Cup qualifiers.

Trial Matches as Preparation for World Cup qualifiers
The Indonesian national team, under the guidance of Patrick Kluivert, will face Kuwait on September 5th and Lebanon on September 9th at Gelora Bung Tomo in Surabaya.These matches are strategically scheduled as part of the team’s build-up to the crucial fourth round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, where they will compete against Saudi Arabia and iraq for a coveted spot in the tournament.
