Two hockey players from Durango will represent Mexico at the Pan‍ American Junior Games in Asunción, Paraguay, from August 10-19, 2025. ⁢Miriam of los Ríos Enriquez, a goalkeeper, and Melanie Alejandra Torres Saucedo, a forward, have been selected for the Mexican Under-21 team.

The athletes were chosen following their performance in 2024. Both players participated with distinction for Durango in the National Games⁢ Conade 2024. Their performance⁤ at a clinic also contributed to their‍ selection for the U-21 team.
