3 “Durian Queens” ‍Auctioned for Record-Breaking Prices

The ‍3 “durian queens” – “Old‍ durian queen“, “Dona durian queen”, and “Ri6 durian queen” – were the stars of a recent auction in Dak Lak province. These exceptional durians were handpicked from 32 durian gardens in Krong ​Pac district, showcasing​ the best of the region’s produce.

The Auction⁣ Results

The starting price for the “Durian Queens” ​was set at ⁢60-70 million VND. However, the final prices far exceeded expectations, with the successful bids ranging‍ from 350 million‍ to 1.4 billion VND. ⁤The Ri6 Durian Queen was ⁤purchased ‍at the highest price of 1.4 billion VND by Chanh Thu Fruit Import-Export Corporation‌ from Ben Tre province and its partners. The⁤ Dona Durian Queen was sold for 900 million VND to Hong Sang Fruit Company Limited from Tien Giang province, while the Old Durian Queen ⁣was closed at 350 million VND by EKCORP.
