Danilova struggled in the short program at the European Championships, falling twice. She went down on a triple Salchow and again during a step sequence. Her spin was also out of sync, impacting her technical score.
despite the difficulties, Danilova and her partner have qualified for the free skate tomorrow due to the small field size. They finished tenth at last year’s European Championships, and have previously placed eighth (2024), 21st (2022), and 16th (2020) at the event.
Georgia’s Anastasiia Metelkina and Luka Berulava lead with a score of 75.96, followed by defending champions Minerva Fabienne Hase and Nikita Volodin of Germany (74.81).
