Dwayne Johnson’s Bodysuit Reveal in Live-Action Moana: ‘We Got Caught’ – Behind the Scenes Insights
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is known for his strong physique, but he sometimes uses a bodysuit for his roles. Recently, he confirmed this while discussing his part as Maui in the live-action adaptation of “Moana.” Photos from the set led to speculation about his muscular appearance.
In an interview with “Extra,” Johnson admitted he does not take full credit for looking buff. He explained, “That’s a suit that took a long time to put on.” He expressed gratitude for viewers thinking he bulked up, which indicates they could not spot the suit easily.
Johnson shared that it takes him several hours daily to wear the bodysuit. He noted the challenges of working in outdoor settings while trying to avoid paparazzi. Despite their efforts to block sightlines, some photos were taken.
The animated sequel, “Moana 2,” is performing well at the box office. Johnson mentioned that the live-action film will be released in theaters in 2026.
