EA Bondholders Left in Limbo: Meeting Abruptly Closed, New Appointment Looms
Energy Absolute Public Company Limited Postpones Bondholders Meeting
Energy Absolute Public Company Limited (EA) recently convened a meeting of bondholders No. 3/2024 for high-risk environmental conservation bonds No. 2/2023, Set 1, scheduled for redemption in 2024. However, the meeting was adjourned due to insufficient attendance by debtors and proxies, failing to form a quorum.
The meeting, initially scheduled for redemption, was postponed to allow for additional collateral to be obtained. Despite the efforts, the required number of attendees was not met, prompting the chairman to adjourn the meeting. The meeting of bondholders has been rescheduled for October 1, 2024, at 10:00 am, with the agenda remaining unchanged.
According to the details of the meeting, a total of 526 bondholders and proxies attended, representing 1,147,200 bond units. This accounts for 28.68% of the total bond units.
