External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, while addressing the Indian community in Luxembourg, strongly criticized Pakistan for its long-standing support of terrorism through training camps. He stated that these camps have operated for decades, contributing to instability in the region.
Jaishankar also addressed the issue of international diplomacy, noting a tendency for some nations to offer unsolicited advice to India while prioritizing their own interests. He referenced Operation Sindoor as an example, where certain countries voiced concerns about tensions but overlooked similar issues within their own borders.
The Minister conveyed India’s concern regarding the evolving situation in Venezuela, calling for all involved parties to prioritize the safety and well-being of the Venezuelan people. He further emphasized the strengthening relationship between India and Luxembourg, spanning political, economic, and technological sectors, and acknowledged the vital role of the Indian diaspora in fostering these ties.
