The Ebola virus disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the congo is showing signs of slowing, according too the latest report from Relief Web on September 30, 2025. Between the previous update and this report, seven new cases were identified: six confirmed and one probable, all retrospectively validated.
These new cases were concentrated in three health areas within the Bulape Health zone: Bulape (four cases), Mpianga (two cases), and dikolo (one case). During the same period, seven deaths were reported, occurring among both newly identified and previously hospitalized patients.
