Al -Marsad newspaper: The Minister of Education, Youssef Al -Bunyan, announced the implementation of a new mechanism for selecting teachers, starting from next year, in coordination with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.

Personal tests and interviews

He said during a press conference, that the Ministry of Human Resources will provide the Ministry of Education with the names of the candidates, while the Ministry of Education will undertake personal tests and interviews through which it can choose the best for its requests and the jobs that will be within its educational plan for the coming year.

National Institute

He added: “Today we have a stage that the teacher’s choice is going through to ensure his quality, and we have included the National Institute for the Development of Educational Professions for a year to develop the teacher, and the portal for the selection of the teacher will be from next year. And all who will be chosen through the human resources platform, will be subject to a professional development program for a year, which is a professional master program that aims to enable new teachers to perform their tasks in the educational field efficiently.”

He pointed out that there are three main programs to enhance the competitiveness of the Saudi teacher, including cooperation with the Singapore Institute, which will work with the National Institute for Professional Development for Teachers to prepare and implement the training program, pointing to the scholarship of a number of male and female teachers to Singapore for training, to enable them to implement the program in the future, and to be in the future is the basic gateway to the school through the professional development of all candidates for education jobs.
