Edwards Defines Role, Advances to PFL Middleweight Final

Fabian Edwards (15-4) secured his place in the 2025 PFL middleweight finals Friday, defeating Josh Silveira (14-5) by decision at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. Edwards, the brother of former UFC champion Leon Edwards, showcased strong boxing and takedown defence in the three-round fight. The judges’ scorecards all read 29-28 in favor of Edwards.
Edwards will now face Dalton Rosta (11-1) on Aug. 21. Rosta,hailing from Pennsylvania,earned his spot with a split-decision victory over Aaron Jeffery on Friday.
The victory marks a significant step for Edwards, who previously challenged johnny Eblen for the Bellator MMA middleweight championship in both 2023 and 2024.
