The Egyptian Amateur Open Golf Championship 2025 has been hailed a success by the Egyptian Golf Federation, marking a meaningful moment⁤ for the sport in the country. The tournament, held at the ‍Dreamland Golf Club, drew‍ a record number of participants from 19 nations.

Fourteen-year-old qatari prodigy ​Daniel Sokolov achieved ⁤a ​historic victory,becoming the youngest ​champion in the Egyptian Amateur Open’s history. He finished with a remarkable nine-under-par score, totaling 207 strokes, and received the cup from ⁢Egyptian Golf Federation President Omar Hisham Talaat.

In the inaugural​ seniors’⁣ category, Egyptian player Amr Abou El-Ela secured the title⁣ after a ⁤competitive contest against Ghassan Kabbani and Costa Marmaras.

New Prize Money Initiative
