After penning a book detailing his life experiences and performing songs about his homelands—Italy‍ and Egypt, including one ⁢in Arabic and another ⁣in ‌the brescian dialect wiht singer-songwriter Charlie Cinelli—it’s‌ now time ‍for him to venture into acting. Nasser Ata Alla, better known as Mimmo, ⁣has ‍been living in Borgosatollo with his ⁤family for quite some time. He has three children, two sons and a daughter, ‌and ⁤manages two pizzerias in the town.

The idea for the film arose from the book «Nasser, da clandestino a cittadino» (Nasser, from illegal immigrant to citizen), co-written with‌ Luciano Zanardini. The project ⁢is a collaboration with director Mauro Cartapani, who previously created ⁣a film titled “A-mors.”

The film’s backdrops are set in ⁤the Brescia area, including ⁤the historic city center ‌with ‍landmarks like the‍ Duomo, Piazza Castello, and Piazza Mercato, ⁣as well as⁢ Manerba‌ and Iseo.⁤ The‌ film is expected to debut in cinemas no sooner than ⁣October, after which it will ⁣be available online.

Gratitude and Aspirations
